Phase 2: The Observation
During the observation, your role as a mentor is to collect data (in the form of notes, video, short scripting, student work samples, etc.) to be reviewed and discussed with the teacher candidate, on the job intern, or new teacher. Review the list of Observation Data Collection Strategies to determine what would be most effective for the lesson you are observing.
