There are many types of mentoring styles that can be implemented in the school setting. The most common style is known as "traditional mentoring," which involves a mentor (experienced individual) mentoring a mentee (someone learning something new). Other types of mentoring styles that can be implemented include:
Group Mentoring: One mentor working with multiple mentees.
Reverse Mentoring: A junior employee mentors a senior employee. This is essentially traditional mentoring in reverse.
Peer Mentoring: Two individuals work together in a mentoring partnership where both parties are from a similiar job level or age range.
Which other types of mentoring styles are effective? I would love to hear everyone's thoughts!
