Hello, My name is Tracy and I am in my 23rd year of teaching at the elementary level. I have recently started a new postion as a math interventionist and have noticed a trend over the past 15 years of teachers leaving the profession within their first 5 years. I am reaching out as a mentor to see how I can better support new teachers as we, teachers, are vital to all levels of the workforce needed for our future generations. We can't afford to lose this generation of educators.

Hi Tracy,
You mention a great point-so many teachers have left the profession over the last few years. How do you think mentoring can help with retention of teachers? Thank you for sharing!
