Hello everyone. My name is Melanie Potter. I am a Kindergarten teacher in Roanoke City Public Schools. This is my 18th year with RCPS and my 22nd year of teaching. I have been blessed to have excellent mentors over the years and now hope I can be that to new teachers coming into our district.

Academy for Co-Teaching and Collaboration
(St. Cloud University)
St. Cloud has created, implemented and reserached a new approach to student teaching utilizing a co-teaching model. This innovative work was originally undertaken through a U.S. Department of Education Teacher Quality Enhancement Partnership Grant for $5 million awarded in 2003.
